WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Finance Transformation Process & Technology Analyst, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:

Map end-to-end finance processes across key domains such as R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Treasury, reporting, controls, intercompany, reconciliations, and close management.

Document process steps, roles and responsibilities, systems, data flows, manual interventions, controls, approvals, handoffs, dependencies, and service levels.

Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplications, rework, control gaps, fragmented ownership, local variations, and opportunities for simplification and standardization.

Design target-state finance processes, RACI models, control points, data flows, and operating-model principles for a scalable global finance function.

Translate finance pain points and business needs into clear requirements, functional specifications, user stories, solution hypotheses, and acceptance criteria.

Assess opportunities to improve finance outcomes through ERP optimization, workflow tools, process mining, RPA, reconciliation tools, analytics, data models, intelligent document processing, and AI-enabled use cases.

Embed auditability, segregation of duties, regulatory expectations, data quality, operational resilience, and control requirements into process and solution design.

Coordinate cross-functional delivery across Finance, Technology, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance, external partners, and local finance teams to drive adoption and value realization.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are in search of a Finance Transformation Process & Technology Analyst to join our team in Boadilla del Monte, with the following qualifications and background:

Professional Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Process Excellence, Finance Operations, Business Architecture, Digital Transformation, or related areas. (Required)

• Strong hands-on experience mapping and redesigning end-to-end finance processes, preferably across multiple countries or business units. (Required)

• Proven ability to document current-state and target-state processes using structured methods such as BPMN, SIPOC, value-stream mapping, process mining outputs, RACIs, control matrices, or equivalent approaches. (Required)

• Experience working with finance systems and data flows, ideally including ERP platforms, reporting tools, workflow tools, reconciliation tools, process mining, RPA, or analytics platforms. (Required)

• Track record of translating finance process requirements into technology-enabled improvements and measurable business outcomes. (Required)

• Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, or regulated environments. (Preferred)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. (Required)

• Master’s degree, MBA, Lean Six Sigma, BPM, process mining, finance systems, data analytics, or project/program management certification. (Preferred)

Languages

• Fluent English and Spanish. (Required)

• Portuguese. (Preferred)

Hard Skills

Required

• Strong knowledge of core finance processes and how they connect to systems, data, controls, reporting, and management decision-making. (Required)

• Process mapping and process redesign expertise, including the ability to move from fragmented local practices to standardized global process architecture. (Required)

• Technical fluency across finance systems, data models, integrations, automation, analytics, workflow digitization, and AI-enabled use cases. (Required)

• Ability to build business cases, define KPIs, quantify benefits, assess feasibility, and prioritize initiatives based on business value and execution risk. (Required)

• Strong understanding of governance, risk, controls, auditability, and data quality in finance transformation initiatives. (Required)

• Ability to translate business needs and improvement opportunities into structured requirements for technology teams and vendors. (Required)

Preferred

• Knowledge of ERP optimization, process mining, RPA, reconciliation tools, analytics platforms, or intelligent document processing. (Preferred)

• Experience applying BPMN, SIPOC, value-stream mapping, RACIs, control matrices, or process mining outputs in finance transformation contexts. (Preferred)
