About Tradeify
At Tradeify, we're building a high-performance trading ecosystem that empowers traders around the world with capital, technology, education, and community. We operate across futures and crypto markets and partner with platforms like NinjaTrader and Tradovate to deliver a best-in-class trading experience.
We're a rapidly scaling fintech serving a global trader community, and technology is at the center of everything we do. If you want to build products where performance actually matters — where a 200ms lag on a dashboard is a real problem for real traders — this is a good place to do it.
The Role
We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale applications across the Tradeify ecosystem. You'll own features end-to-end, work across frontend and backend systems, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering.
This is a hands-on role. We move fast, we ship, and we expect you to have strong opinions about how things should be built.
What You'll Do
Full-Stack Product Development
Build responsive, high-performance web applications and trading interfaces
Design and develop scalable APIs, backend services, and microservices
Work with databases, caching layers, and event-driven architectures
Develop integrations with third-party platforms, trading systems, and internal tools
Implement real-time dashboards, analytics views, and trading interfaces
Optimize for speed, reliability, and user experience across the stack
Engineering & Collaboration
Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Troubleshoot production issues and improve observability
Help shape engineering standards as the company scales
What We're Looking For
4+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack roles (frontend AND backend work in the same role)
Strong frontend experience with React, Next.js, or Vue (or equivalent modern framework)
Strong backend experience with Python, Node.js, C#, or Go
Experience building and consuming REST APIs and WebSocket services
Solid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for shipping products where performance and UX genuinely matter
Nice to Have
Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, or financial systems
Exposure to real-time systems or market data applications
Experience with event streaming systems (Kafka, NATS, or Pulsar)
Experience with TimescaleDB, ClickHouse, or high-volume data systems
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and engineering automation
Why Tradeify
Rapidly scaling fintech with a global trader community
High ownership and direct impact on the product
Fully remote (US), fast-moving startup culture
Work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and product systems
Collaborative, ambitious, driven team
How to Apply
Please apply directly through this posting. As part of the application, you'll be asked to describe the most performance-sensitive system you've built and what specifically you optimized (latency, throughput, cost, etc.). Please be specific; vague or generic answers to this question will not be reviewed.
We review every real application. We do not review applications submitted through third-party services, applications where the resume and application answers don't match, or applications where the written responses appear to be generic, copy-pasted, or written entirely by AI without your own voice or specifics.
A Note on Our Hiring Process
At Tradeify, we use AI-assisted tools as part of our recruiting process, including resume screening, application review, and candidate communication. We're transparent about this because we want you to make an informed decision about applying.
To be clear about the asymmetry: we ask that your application answers reflect your own voice and real experience so we can evaluate you, not a generic AI-generated response. On our side, AI helps us review the high volume of applications we receive quickly and fairly, but every final hiring decision is made by a member of our team, not an algorithm.
