Job classification: A5068 - Information Officer II
Salary range: $70,566.71- 77,398.10 (Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity) 
Hours per week: 36.25
Paid leave: 3 weeks vacation per year

The Indigenous Housing, Success and Retention Specialist advances Indigenous student success by leading SAIT's Indigenous Student Housing Program and developing retention initiatives that foster belonging, wellbeing, and academic achievement.
 
Working collaboratively with Student Services and campus partners, this role delivers culturally grounded, data-informed supports that help Indigenous learners navigate their educational journey while strengthening student persistence and completion outcomes. Through strategic programming, partnership development, and impact evaluation, the Specialist contributes to a coordinated and culturally safe support system for Indigenous students.
