Position Summary
Prose is looking for a Paid Acquisition Manager to join our Growth Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director of Acquisition Marketing. You'll own the paid acquisition strategy across Meta and AppLovin — setting direction, account structure, and measurement for both — and build Pinterest and TikTok into meaningful channels alongside them, growing new customers for both the haircare and skincare business lines. It's a chance to acquire customers for a product that's genuinely made-to-order, not one-size-fits-all.
Key Responsibilities
Own Meta acquisition performance across the haircare and skincare business lines — direction, account structure, and measurement — staying hands-on in Ads Manager on the highest-leverage work to keep CPA at or below goal while scaling volume.
Own AppLovin's growth — structure, measurement, and the path to more efficient spend — with enough hands-on involvement to steer it directly when needed.
Build Pinterest and TikTok into a reliable acquisition channel, establishing structure, measurement, and a path to efficient scale.
Develop and evolve the paid acquisition strategy and audience growth plan across all platforms, evaluate new channels for where to test next, and align campaigns with the broader marketing calendar and business goals across acquisition, creative, brand, and lifecycle teams.
Own the analytical tools and methodologies used to evaluate campaign effectiveness; interpret performance data to guide spend, and produce clear weekly and monthly reporting on results and learnings.
Design and execute an A/B testing roadmap across the conversion funnel — creative, audiences, landing pages, consultation completion, and checkout — and turn results into clear recommendations.
Partner with Creative Strategy to brief, produce, and iterate on high-performing ad creative — using audience segmentation, targeting, and creative testing to find winners across both categories, and surfacing insights with brand and analytics partners that fuel new creative and channel ideas.
Manage relationships with media partners, holding them accountable to acquisition results and efficiency.
Manage and develop the Paid Social Associate — set clear priorities, run consistent 1:1s, and provide the coaching and feedback that helps them grow into greater ownership.
Key Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on experience in paid acquisition or growth marketing, ideally at a DTC or subscription brand.
Deep, hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience — enough to set strategy and account structure with authority and to get into the platform yourself when it matters. Experience with purchase- and value-optimized campaigns is required.
Demonstrated experience owning acquisition strategy for an app or programmatic channel (AppLovin or a similar DSP) is required. Direct hands-on experience operating AppLovin specifically is a strong plus.
Pinterest and TikTok experience is a plus.
Strong analytical skills — comfortable owning measurement, interpreting performance data, and translating it into spend decisions and clear reporting. Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Looker, or similar) is a plus.
A testing mindset and a bias toward action: you form hypotheses, run disciplined experiments, and act on what you learn. Experience with Haus and Northbeam is a plus.
Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable partnering with Creative, Brand, Analytics, and Lifecycle teams.
Active, daily use of AI tools in your current workflow — for analysis, reporting, research, or creative thinking. We're looking for someone who already treats AI as a work tool, not someone willing to learn it someday.
