Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

You will be:

• designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines supporting the migration to BigQuery,
• responsible for ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization of data processing workloads,
• delivering production-grade data products that serve reporting, analytics, and business intelligence needs,
• collaborating with Analytics Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful migration and long-term platform sustainability.

Your profile:

• strong Python and SQL skills,
• hands-on experience with Google BigQuery (including optimization and performance tuning),
• experience with  building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines,
• experience in processing structured and semi-structured data,
• data modeling and schema design skills,
• experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Composer,
• experience with Git and CI/CD practices,
• experience with dbt,
• data quality, validation, and monitoring experience,
• understanding of cloud-native data architectures,

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• experience with migration projects from legacy platforms,
• infrastructure as Code knowledge,
• experience with APIs and external data ingestion,
• knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management ,
• experience with monitoring and observability frameworks
