About the job

Own the tests that prove Graphcore’s driver software is ready for real systems.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will verify and validate complex device drivers and tools. Your work will support Graphcore’s next-generation products from early development to production release.

You will design, implement, execute and report high quality tests across kernel drivers, user space libraries and platform tools. You will also strengthen test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support reliable software delivery.

This role sits close to the hardware and reaches up the stack. You will help uncover hard issues, reduce MTBF and build confidence in every release.

The team and culture

You will join the Drivers QA team within System Software QA. The team tests low level kernel drivers, user space libraries and platform tools.

Work happens across the full stack, from hardware and firmware to ML, Kubernetes and cloud management. You will partner early with developers and turn real use cases into component, integration and acceptance tests.

Decisions are made through technical discussion, evidence and ownership. You will speak up in reviews, improve ways of working and help junior engineers raise their impact.

What we’re looking for

· Experience validating Linux kernel and/or device drivers.
· Test development capability using C++ and Python.
· Experience with CI/CD, build tools and modern testing practices.
· Strong debugging skills across complex software and hardware layers.
· Ability to develop integration and acceptance test plans from real use cases.
· Clear communication skills, with the ability to document decisions and mentor others.
