Student Support Associate
Colorado Springs, CO | Part-Time
Our Colorado Springs campus runs on the people at the front desk. This role is often the first face a student sees and the first voice they hear when something's not working right. If you like solving problems, keeping things organized, and making people feel taken care of, this is a role where that shows up every single day.
What you'll do
You'll be the primary point of contact for students and visitors at the Colorado Springs campus, handling everything from a friendly greeting at the door to tracking down a missing transcript. Expect a mix of front desk hospitality, administrative work, direct student support, and basic Tier 1 technical troubleshooting across phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions.
- Greet visitors, answer questions, and keep the front desk and common areas running smoothly
- Process student documentation including training records, timesheets, certificates, and transcripts
- Respond to student questions about attendance, scheduling, learning platforms, student portals, and program requirements
- Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting and support for students navigating their student portal, online course content, and related systems
- Assist students through email, chat, phone, and in-person support channels to resolve common technical and account-access issues
- Monitor and audit attendance records, follow up on absences, and support makeup scheduling
- Maintain accurate student records in Salesforce and related systems
- Coordinate with instructors, compliance, IT, and other departments to resolve student issues and escalate technical concerns when appropriate
- Support classroom readiness, campus events, and general daily operations
- Participate in training to stay current on Salesforce, Zendesk, learning platforms, and other student support tools
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in student support, customer service, helpdesk, technical support, or administrative work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
- Comfort handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general web-based systems
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to work both independently and across teams
What we'd like you to have
- Associate's or bachelor's degree
- Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Docebo, or similar CRM, LMS, or student information platforms
- Previous helpdesk, technical support, or customer support experience
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent foundational IT certification
- Experience supporting users across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions
What we require
- Must be willing and able to work 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm MT on-site on our Colorado Springs campus.
